Can I purchase SunLife’s life insurance coverage outside of open enrollment?
No, if you are an existing employee with greater than 30 days of service, you can only purchase it during the special open enrollment period November 1-30 for changes effective on January 01, 2011. New employees have 30 days from date of hire to enroll, however during open enrollment ALL employees have the opportunity to enroll in our supplemental life insurance plans.
