Can I purchase an album with an Explicit Lyrics sticker?
Smaller shops will use judgement on whether it’s ok (most won’t even be bothered, as for now it’s not like cigarettes or alcohol a licence taken away offence, and unless you are or look like a 5 year old you shouldn’t have trouble) Bigger shops most of the staff are just trying to get day over and done with so they can get home so shouldn’t even pass comment and with a big queue forming are they really gonna ask for ID. As far as the law goes, there is no real binding law on this, so as far as I know no actual age limit tagged to this. It’s a parental guidance thing. Pretty risk free. If however what your buying has an age sticker then, yes store could ask for ID. Hope that clears it up for you. And if you do have trouble just do what most teenagers do outside some of the local off-licenses, send a trustworthy looking adult to buy it for ya.
