A. Yes. You can purchase just the Remote Control Unit either as a replacement or as an additional unit. To purchase a Remote Control Unit contact: (800) 350-PORT and select Customer Service for accessories; the part number is PA430RX and the cost is $9.99. To use your additional unit you’ll need the alarm unit and the new remote control. Unscrew the end of the cable to detach it. Open up the battery compartment of the alarm unit. Remove the batteries and allow the alarm unit to sit for 10 minutes (more time may be necessary in some cases). Replace the batteries. Reattach the cable. You will notice the LED lights alternately flashing. This indicates that the alarm unit is ready to “learn” the remote control. Press and Hold either button on the remote control until the alarm unit beeps six (6) times and the lights stop flashing.
