Yes you can, and is called a WEP key , preferably in Hexadecimal, dont use a common object/name , set it something like 1A4D9E9F3 dont use this one, make up your own, its better if you cant remember the key, then that would be a better password, and you’ll only need to put this key in once, if you must dave it on your computer put it in a safe place, like a thumbdrive, where nobody can readit unless you’re there. Then you should turn on MAC address filtering, for this you input the MAC addreeses of allowed devices ( the only allowed key on my router is my psp’s MAC address) and turn turn this feature on, This will block any device who’s MAC adddress isnt registered with the router. MAC Address filtering only applies to wirless devices, because who’s gonna break into your house to run an ethernet cord that will obviosly not belong there To get into your router, wither use the utilty that came with it that is installed on your computer (most Linksys routers bring software) or in your bro
