i know how you feel my 8 year ald goldfisg died last wek its so cruel of those people who makes the fishes suffer and sell them i think you should go to the shop and take all the money back and next time go to another shop to buy fishes

I really don’t think the pet store is all to blame here. This tank is too small for even just one of your fish. You need a minimum of 30 gallons for just one of these fish. Most of your problem is probably very high ammonia levels.

you really cant do anything except maybe small claims court. The pet stores sometimes wont know about an outbreak of disease until you do, i know of pet stores where all their fish contracted parasites and had to treat their main storage tank for the parasite. They dont sell you diseased fish on purpose.
