Can I promote my own material in another persons presentation as an invited speaker?
As an invited speaker in anothers project, it would be unethical unless permission was granted. Now if you are not plugging yourself in, or being self serving, and the material you are mentioning pertains to the overall project at hand, by all means there should not be a problem. There should still be prior arrangements made and discussed before beginning the session.
