Yes, you can turn-off synchronization of particular folders such as Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, and Notes. On your mobile device, select Settings then Sync Settings to select which folders to synchronize. Note that Wireless Sync will still synchronize this information to the website, but the information will not be sent to your mobile device.
