Can I prevent intake gasket problems by converting my GM vehicle to green coolant, instead of Dexcool?

I have seen quite a few repeat failures on vehicles that have been converted and do not believe the coolant choice is a factor. Dexcool is a good product when properly used and replaced. GM repeat intake gasket failure is more related to inferior machine work than coolant or gasket selection, in my experience. For much more information on leaking intake gaskets see our Detailed Topic section.
