Can I press charges for verbal threats being made to me?
First, nice job in getting those calls recorded and knowing to whom those numbers belong to. That is good evidence in your favor. Tell your parents what these girls said to you, and if they have spread any vicious rumors about you attempting to defame your good name, then all the better for civil court which can then punish them by making them pay money to you for defaming your good name. Have your parents go to the school disciplinary dean or assistant principal to discuss these things and find out what if anything the school policy is on good conduct. If you want to take things a step further, go the police with the recordings and swear out truthfully an affidavit or statement of facts that lays out a time line of events and they can press charges for harassment, intimidation, threats of assault. It all depends on how far you and your parents want to take it. If its enough for you to have the school punish them, but beware, they may try to retaliate against you if they are not kicked
