Can I prepare a provisional patent application with PatentPro?

Yes. PatentPro creates a disclosure document describing your invention that can be filed as a “provisional application for patent” by sending it to the Patent Office with a Provisional Application for Patent Cover Sheet and an $100.00 fee for a small entity. Because the disclosure requirements for a provisional application are the same as those for a full blown utility application, the method used in PatentPro prepares a complete document that can later be converted into a full patent application. No declaration, however, is required. In addition, no claims are required in the provisional, though the claims generated with PatentPro may be submitted with the provisional application. Fees are subject to change. The current fee for a provisional application for patent can be found on the USPTO website fee page. USPTO Contact Center (UCC) customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday (except Federal holidays) at 800-786-9199 to provide fee information. Payment by che
