Can I pre-bait with different boilies and other baits?
Ocean Fresh boilies are 100% natural, with no chemical preservatives or other harmful ingredients that might damage the carp’s welfare. So using a combination of different flavoured Ocean Fresh boilies offers a unique taste and will not discourage the carp from feeding. However, we strongly discourage you from pre-baiting our products with other manufacturer’s boilies, since this can create a non-healthy food source and might discourage carp from eating there, especially if preservatives are used in the other bait company’s products. Particles are a different type of bait which can be very useful for pre-baiting. Particles must be well cooked before entering the water, and a good particle mix would include maples, hemp, tigernuts, pellets and maize. This would reduce the cost of the pre-baiting exercise but could bring more nuisance fish on to your spot.
