Can I post grades to the building Interim Progress Report?

A. Not at this time. Ohio’s Interim Progress Report is comment based. An Interim that will accept a grade from the Teacher Gradebook is being investigated. An alternative to the comment based progress report is just to print a report card at interim time. Teachers may post their grades from the gradebook. Once they do that, just like a regular marking period, they may also “Go To Mark Entry” from their gradebook and enter up to 2 comments to be printed as well as the posted grade. The administrative staff will follow the same procedures as generating report cards for each marking period, however when on the report card parameter screen, the Report Heading may be changed to something like “Interim Progress Report”. Use this handout. For those teachers that do not use the electronic gradebook, they will simply access the Mark Entry screen and enter the marking period grade and up to 2 comments, check mark “Mark Entry is Complete” and Save.
