Can I poll the logger with a laptop, and then copy the data files over to the central system?

No, because the data files do not append to each other. If there is an existing file with the same name as the file you are wanting to copy over, then the file that gets copied into the data directory will replace the existing file, and cause the loss of previous data for that month. We do provide a Portable Data Retriever software package that can be ran on the laptop and will allow you to poll the data and bring it back to the central. To get more information and pricing on this software package, please contact our Marketing Dept.
