Can I play steam games on windows live?
Windows Live and Steam are very similar services in that they allow an online community and online play. Some of the games sold by Steam require Windows Live to play. In that case, you have to log onto both networks if you buy it through Steam. If Windows Live supports a particular game, then you can use it to play (and Steam is only used as a form of DRM to distribute, install, and run the software.) However, I do not know if L4D or COD6 support Windows Live (developers would have to write the game to support it.) I was all over that sale as well. It actually got me to install games on my PC for the first time in years.
