Can I play online games over the ResNet?
In order for your game console to function over the ResNet, it must meet four requirements: • It must have a physical address, (also called a MAC address or hardware address,) which must be registered for DHCP access. • It must have a web browser. • It must have DHCP enabled. • It must accept cookies. Aside from what is written in this page, the University does not guarantee technical support for game consoles over the ResNet. Though we can try to help over the phone, you are ultimately responsible for all setup and configuration of game consoles.
