Can I play interactive games or use VOIP with SkyWay USA?
Because of the latency involved with satellite internet communications, time-sensitive applications that require fractions-of-a-second user inputs (such as multi-player interactive “twitch” games or real-time equities trading) are not recommended. Likewise, Voice over IP (VoIP) telephone service delivered over the Internet degrades due to performance issues presented by latency on the SkyWay USA network, as it would on any satellite-delivered service. VPN connections are not supported by the system.
