Can I play games on my PC over ResNet?
Probably. Due to the pilot service the majority of PC games should now work from ResNet. There are certain provisos to this which are outlined in the pilot service section of this FAQ. Gamespy’s Server Browser: Many games use Gamespy’s customisable server browser, embedded into the game itself, to search for multiplayer servers. Unfortunately we have been unable to get their server browser to function on ResNet. You will need to identify the IP of the server (running on one of the standard ports for the game) you wish to connect to by other means, and then connect to that IP directly using the necessary option in the game’s server browser (often called Direct Connect or Connect to IP).
