Can I play DVDs through my PCs DVD player and interface them with the WinTV-D board?

There is no DVD encoder on the WinTV-D board- so it does not interface directly with an existing DVD encoder -neither with hardware or software. An external DVD player (deck) can be connected with Composite video out (RCA) to the WinTV-D’s composite video input.
