Well, I would say yes. I definately encourage you to do YOU and whatever your dream is. I have been to a wedding where the bride did not walk down to the traditional wedding march, and it was nice. Her whole wedding was very unique, and so the wedding march probably wouldn’t have fit in. I have also been to a wedding where the wedding march was sort of ‘remixed’. The band kind of gave a little twist to it, and it was great! I think that the instrumental version of the song that you are trying to use would be perfect because it has meaning and you may even want to include a message in the wedding programs [if you plan on having any] about why that song is so important to you both.
