Try it. Rose cuttings which have been brought indoors occasionally develop water roots which are rather fragile and inefficient. Handle your cutting carefully. Cut off the dry flower leaving the leaves intact. Plant the cutting in a moistened mixture of two parts commercial potting soil, one part vermiculite or Perlite, and one part peat moss. Now place your potted cutting in a large plastic bag and loosely secure the top. Place it in a bright, warm spot but not in direct sun and hope for the best.
