Can i plant lavendar in a fairly small pot to have indoors?
Your pot size would be fine, but it will eventually need repotting for it to stay healthy. Lavender plants grown in homes never stay healthy though, as they become weaker due to the lack of light that they need. They become straggly, won’t flower much, if at all, and get preyed on by pests, due to their weakness. They would be OK if brought indoors for a week or so, whilst flowering, but it’s really not recommended to have them indoors for much longer. Different varieties of Lavender flower at different points in the summer, so you could perhaps experiment with a few, and rotate the plants that come indoors – I realise that this isn’t what you wanted, but it would be a pity for your efforts to just result in weak and ultimately dying plants, if kept indoors. Hope this helps. Good luck!
