Can I place Kwik Dek directly on the ground without a solid surface?
A. The fastening system of Kwik Dek generally requires a fairly level, firm and solid surface in order to successfully connect the tabs with the loops. Some people have had success, installing Kwik Dek directly on the ground, but usually it requires killing existing vegetation, leveling out and compacting the soil, then placing a weed barrier down first.
