Can I place hot pans directly onto Staron solid surfaces?
Staron solid surfaces are heat-resistant and will remain stable and undamaged up to 100 oC (212 oF). However, high heat or flame can damage the surface. In most cases it can be repaired. To protect the countertop, always use a heat pad or trivet. You can also request addition ofheat rails near a stove where hot pans can be placed without worry.
