Can I place a stop payment on a BillPay payment?
A. Yes, if you desire to stop payment on a BillPay payment, we will make every effort to accommodate your request. To place a stop payment, please call or come into one of our offices to sign a form requesting the stop payment. Our Online Service Support will process your request, making every effort to stop the payment. We will not be able to stop all requests, as electronic payments may have already cleared. Stop payment requests will be accepted only if we have a reasonable opportunity to act on such a stop payment order. If you call, we may also require you to present your request in writing within fourteen (14) days after your call. The charge for each stop payment order will be the charge for such service as defined in the fee schedule.
