Can i pierce my own tongue and lip by my self?
Definitly not! I could tell you horror stories about patients I’ve seen who had fatal reprocussions. First, piercing the tongue is dangerous in itself. There have been several cases of aneurisms in the brain caused by tongue piercings. Your lip may not be as dangerous, however, you should always have it done where there are sterile needles, and trained professionals. Piercings are less of a risk that way. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against piercings. I have my belly button pierced. But even with much experience in blood draws, surgeries, and injections, I would still not attempt it myself. If you do get any piercings, make sure you clean them properly. Infection in piercings can be very dangerous.
