Can I perform community service hours at an animal shelter?
Community Service hours for court appointed programs, school projects, church programs, boy and girl scouts, etc might be performed at an Animal Shelter. Please call the main number of your local shelter to set up a day and time. Basically, hours may be performed during regular business hours. Once experience and knowledge of the Shelter’s procedures are aquired, some hours may be volunteered prior to opening and on holidays.
