Can I pay vacation and/or sick time using Payroll?
Yes, Payroll will accrue vacation or sick time calculated on hours worked, per pay period, per month or per year. If your policy is to “use it or lose it,” you can set a limit on the number of hours available. As you record vacation and/or sick time in Payroll, these numbers are deducted from the employee’s available balance.
