Can I pay my deposit/balance to complete by personal cheque?

We would prefer that all deposits and balances to complete are paid by bankers draft/building society cheque or a direct Transfer into our account. We will accept a personal cheque in respect of a deposit but please note that we will not be able to exchange until the cheque has cleared. This will take 10 working days.
