Can I paint Smartpine like normal timber?

0

All timber used externally should be painted or sealed to provide protection against weathering. Smartpine comes pre-undercoated to make painting much easier, and is ready for your choice of water-based or oil-based top coats. We recommend 2 or more top coats of a good quality exterior paint suitable for timber (always follow the manufacturers guidelines). After the initial coats of paint have been applied, a fresh coat of paint every few years will keep your structure looking great.
