Can i own a Jericho 941 9mm in the state of CA?
You may own it, you may purchase it from a private party, and you may obtain it through an “Operation of Law”. What you cannot do is purchase it from or through a licensed dealer. If you purchase the Jericho from a private party the transaction must be recorded with the state through a dealer–so you have DROS fees and a 10 day wait (both parties will have to go to the dealer to fill out paperwork). If you obtain the weapon through and “Operation of Law” (inheritance, gift from close family member, etc.) you need to complete the appropriate form (available through the DOJ web site) and submit it with the appropriate fee. Just to prevent misunderstanding, you may not purchase the handgun from an out of state dealer or private party and have it shipped to you or a California dealer.
