Can I output floating point images with xStream?

0

In order to get a floating point output, you should first select a compatible format in the target application renderer: HDR and EXR are two formats that allow such output. Then, you should open the xStream options dialog and uncheck the “Apply Vue’s Post Processing filters” so that the “natural film response” filter won’t be applied. If it’s enabled, a logarithmic filter is applied to the output, which will make you think your output is clamped to 1.0.
