Yes. Just set the Digital Audio Output to PCM in the Setup Menu. All audio, including MP3, will now be available to your digital compatible equipment. 2.9 Which is the best cable for digital audio, coax or optical. There shouldn’t be any difference at all due to the nature of a digital signal. However, coax is normally cheaper and so is probably the better option for a long cable run. 2.10 I am not getting any output from my subwoofer connection! This is because in the Speaker Setup section in the Setup Menu you have selected a size of ‘Large’ for your front left and right speakers. This effectively turns off the subwoofer output. To enable the subwoofer, simply select a size of ‘Small’ for your front speakers. This is covered (rather confusingly) on page 40 of the Owner’s Manual.
