Can I order a large quantity of Gift Cards and distribute over a long period of time?

We at Commerce Bank prefer that you order the cards as needed. If you choose to hold onto a card, please do not activate the card. A card will be considered inactive if it HAS been activated and if there is no activity on the card (purchases or credit returns) for twelve (12) consecutive months. Although the monthly inactivity fee will not kick in until the month after 12 months of inactivity, each card has an expiration date. The 7-year expiration date is embossed on the card at the time of order. By not distributing Gift Cards as soon as possible, you may limit the amount of time your recipient has to use their card before it expires.
