Can I operate the luminaires with a standard dimmer switch?

No, not with a leading edge or trailing edge phase dimmer. They can be operated using the 14-step touch dimmer switch XL DC 1 or combined with the dim control XL DC 2 and our 1-10V dimmer switch, but the dimmer switch can adjust only the level of brightness. The dim control must be switched on and off via the supply cable with Euro plug. Any other 1-10V dimmer switch may also be used to perform both functions, but in this case the control cables and the cable of the dim control must be connected to the dimmer switch by an electrician.
