Can I operate a small network with HughesNet?

0

It is possible to connect multiple home computers and laptops to a single HughesNet® Internet connection. But it’s up to the customer to access home networking equipment which may be required and which is not included with your HughesNet system. You’ll need to contact your network hardware manufacturer and/or operating system software developer for network details, as HUGHES® is not responsible for home network configuration or management. Since a small network means that all computers will be sharing a single connection, which in turn means that multiple users will use high-bandwidth applications simultaneously, speed may be affected and there could be interruptions. Note that speed is subject to the HughesNet Fair Access Policy. If you’d like, when you set your installation appointment, you can inquire if a HughesNet certified installer is available to hook up your small network. However, home networks are not included or supported by HUGHES technical support.
