No you wont be able to. This is because Microsoft Office saves files in a different format than Microsoft Works. A better alternative, as already mentioned above, is OpenOffice. The newest version (3) is also able to read files saved by the newest version of Word (2007). It is completely free, and you can download it here; http://download.openoffice.org/index.htm… Many people only have a copy of this on their computer as it offers much the same features as Microsoft Office.
