Can I obtain copies of site maps from South Ayrshire Council?
South Ayrshire Council is unable to provide site maps as we are only licensed to use Ordnance Survey mapping for our own business needs or to provide authority information to the public. Unless these requirements are met, then we would be in breach of Ordnance Survey copyright. Alternative sources for this type of map would be John Smiths in Glasgow who are OS licensed partners and can provide site centred maps such as the one you require. You might also try the Carnegie Library who should be able to provide you with a map extract – public libraries are covered by different rules than the rest of the authority.
