Can I nominate a young adult who is volunteering but is not under the auspices of a formal young adult volunteer organization?
Young adults traveling and volunteering informally with one or more organizations do not qualify. The young adult must have at least one primary organization/group that provides responsible service support such as insurance, medical evacuation access, housing/living support (or means to do so). This organization serves as the culturally appropriate relationship bridge for healthy partnership through service.
