Yes, the TiVo 1TB Expander Drive can be moved to another TiVo media device, but all recordings will be cleared from the TiVo 1TB Expander Drive and most, if not all, recordings will be cleared from the original TiVo media device. In other words, you cannot move recordings from one device to another with the Expander Drive. Once installed on a different TiVo media device, the Expander Drive is cleared of all previous recordings.
