Can I mount the DepthQ® projector on its side or vertically?

Yes. But as the projector is not specifically designed to operate in this fashion, you will void either the lamp or the projector warranty, or both (depending upon how you proceed). Problem 1: The bulb in the projector wants to sit with its factory-installed orientation to the ground. This orientation optimizes bulb life only when the projector is sitting on a table or is mounted on the ceiling. Rotating the projector either vertically or such that it sits on its side does not maintain that desired lamp orientation; and thus without reorienting the lamp, will result in a shorter bulb life. When mounting the projector on its side, it is simply not possible to re-orient the lamp to avoid this. When mounting the projector vertically (projecting up or down), it is possible to take the lamp apart and re-orient it (rotate it 90 degrees) such that the proper factory-installed orientation is achieved – but it will take some effort. In either case this will void the warranty on the bulb. Proble
