Can I modify the detail displayed on the map screen to optimize the speed of map drawing and zooming?
• Endura is a state-of-the-art consumer electronics handheld computer. The nature of mapping content is that it can be very large in size when large areas are displayed or a lot of detail is shown. For Endura we have provided some of the best and most detailed content available for handheld GPS units to date and you have several options of how to display it on the unit. • The factory settings are optimized for the content that is pre-loaded on the device, but should be adjusted as additional content is loaded onto the device as necessary. Here are a couple of tips to optimize the speed of Endura when a lot of detailed mapping content is present, e.g. through one of Lowrance’s advanced outdoor content microSD cards. • Click anywhere on the map to make the cross-hairs appear.
