Can I modify a registered Type 1A container design?

0

Certain modifications may be made to the primary receptacles of a registered design without retesting, if the conditions specified in section 4.8 of the CAN/CGSB-43.125 standard are satisfied. Section 4.8.1 establishes conditions for minor modifications in the type of primary receptacles or a reduction in the number of primary receptacles compared to the tested container design. Such modifications to the type of inner receptacle do not entail a change to the UN marking on the outer packaging. Section 4.8.2 establishes conditions for other changes to the primary receptacle in place of the primary receptacle used in the tested container design.
