Can I Mix Paint With Texture?
Adding sand or texture to floor and deck paint turns it into a skid-resistant surface. Sand texture in wall paint helps cover minor imperfections and can give walls a softer look. With enough powder or pre-mixed joint compound in paint, you can use a heavy roller, sponge or wide putty knife to create different surfaces such as swirls or a Venetian plaster effect.
