Can I mix and match loops from different loop sets on a disc?
The problem with a lot of loop discs is the fact that so many of the loops on a particular disc do NOT work together. In most cases it is because you have a random assortment of drum sounds, varying from one loop set to another. We offer several discs that are UNIFIED collections of loops. By that, we mean the entire disc features one single drum sound (all loops are taken from the same kit, same room, same recording session). This means all the loops – grooves, groove variations, fills, one shots, and multi-velocity samples – sound EXACTLY the same. If you are looking for sonic consistency and want the ultimate in versatility, these are our SINGLE SESSION loop CD’s. In some cases, multiple discs share the same sounds (cut from same recording session, same kit, same room, same settings), these are color-coded. For example, Drum Werks VII, VIII and Pure Country II are derived from the same recording session and all loops from the three discs can be mixed with loops from any of the other
