Can I migrate to Australia after completing a translation course with AITI?

0

After completing an Advanced Diploma of Translating or Advanced Diploma of Interpreting course, and successfully passing the examinations of AITI, students are eligible to directly apply for a NAATI professional (Level 3) certificate. When applying for independent skilled migration, students may nominate “translator or interpreter” as their occupation, thus obtaining a 60-point occupation (the highest). In the meantime, they can also claim an extra 5-point bonus for proficiency in a community language.
