Can I meet the academic requirements by attending an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology (CAAT)?

No. The Faculty does not admit directly from the CAAT level. However, depending on the program, number of years of study, and the grades obtained, some of the credits may be recognized. For example, students who have competed a Biological, Pharmaceutical or Chemical Technology Program at Seneca College, or the Chemical Technology program at Durham College may, depending on the specific courses and the grades obtained, be meeting the first year Chemistry, Biology and possibly the Organic Chemistry requirement. For other CAAT programs, in general there are few, if any, that will meet any of our requirements. If you have attended a CAAT you must seek admission to a university and may obtain an assessment of transfer credit. Once this has been done you may contact the Assistant to the Admissions Officer at the Faculty of Pharmacy for guidance on how to meet the balance of our academic requirements.
