Can I measure the chromosome, p-arm and q-arm lengthes with the software?

Yes. Once the position of the centromeres is properly defined (this can also be done automatically by Ikaros), the software is able to generate a list of p- and q-arm lengthes. This is very helpful, if you are working with unknown genomes (i.e., plant or animal chromosomes).
