Can I make Thermos flask bacon and scrambled eggs?
You cannot fry bacon inside a thermos. It doesn’t get hot enough, and you will end up with a greasy soggy mess that may make you sick because of the health dangers with undercooked pork (namely Trichinosis, etc.) But what you CAN DO is cook your breakfast in a skillet at home, and pack it HOT into an insulated thermos to go. A thermos is designed to keep hot foods hot for a longer period than normal to allow you to have steaming hot coffee or hot soup on the go. There is no reason you can’t do that with other types of hot meals. Scrambled eggs with crumbled bacon, or even an omelet would work fine. If you use a wide-mouth type thermos, it will be easier to pack and then retrieve the hot foods later. Perhaps you should try stuffing it with French Toast Sticks and syrup!
