Self rising flour is flour with baking powder and salt in it. If you make your pizza dough with it and no yeast the dough will be tough and have a cracker texture at best. You will need yeast to make a good pizza dough. If you are in a pinch for yeast you can use the yeast from the bottom of a bottle of non-pasteurized beer.
