Can I make madu or attach weapons to shields?
No. Shields and weapons are two different pieces in Dagorhir. Shields spikes, for instance, do no damage. Handguards are an interesting topic on the subject of weapons and shields. Weapons may have very large guards that will deflect all but arrows and they can’t be broken like a shield. Most realms will fail a guard that’s as large as a shield, however, so keep it under 12″ in diameter.
